Petzl P21 CAB Tandem Cable Pulley

The Petzl P21 CAB is a Yellow version of the Petzl Tandem, it has stainless steel sheaves for use with wire cable. The Tandem P21 CAB has been designed for use on tyrolean traverses using cables of 12mm maximum diameter.

The Petzl P21 CAB is specially designed for use on horizontal line wire traverses. A pulley must have hardened steel sheaves to work on wire cable instead of the typical steel and aluminum sheaves found on most pulleys. A tandem pulley is also desirable on horizontal traverses due to the pulley creating a trolley effect vs a swinging effect that a single pulley will create.

The Petzl P21 CAB is a bushing pulley designed to work on any cable up to a maximum diameter of 12mm (15/32") The side plates are split apart so that it will easily fit over the top of the cable without having to unhook the cable.

The Petzl P21 CAB is a bushing pulley. For ball bearing switch to the Petzl P21 SPE.

The Petzl Tandem pulleys are designed for horizontal Tyrolean traverse lines.
