Pistol Pete Trout Flies 6 PK SZ 6

Pistol Petes are fast becoming one of the hottest flies around. Whether you fish Pistol Petes with a spinning rod, fly rod, or by trolling, you will find Pistol Petes to be consistent fish-getters. The secret of the Pistol Pete is the action created by the small propeller on the front of the fly. As the fly moves through the water, the propeller spins, creating an action and sound that excites fish into striking even when they are not in a feeding period. A particularly effective way to fish Pistol Petes in lakes is with a light spinning rod, a fly and bobber setup using a slow, stop and go retrieve.
